Could any one tell me what 0.5 deg rear hubs do vs the 0 deg rear hubs?

Adds a .5 degree of toe without changing the wheelbase.

I run at WC on high grip clay and have not tried the gear diff. My car is dialed so I don't think there is any reason to make the change.

I'm planning on getting the worlds car kit and I'm trying to decide on a good mod motor/esc combo. I'm looking for opinions, which do you guys think I should get. I like the viper combo because of the price but not if it's going to lead to headaches down the road.

Where are you going to be running? If you're looking to jump straight into mod, then that's a reasonable motor choice. All of the nearby tracks are running a 17.5 stock class as well.

I run Tekin ESCs currently, and have nothing but great things to say about them.

edit: There's no performance difference between the RS and RS Pro in a 2WD car. Save money and go with the regular RS unless you plan on going with 4WD buggy somewhere down the road.

If I were to go tekin I would get the New motors and skip the old ones. The New Red can motors are serious buisness.

However I give the Overall nod to Vipers combo. It's smooth, and has more then Enough power. The progauge is a huge plus, makes at the track adjustments a breeze.

I'd mostly be running it at wolcott.

Hey guys, ordered my big bores and was wondering what a good piston and oil combo was? Running on a med-small indoor track with fairly high grip.

Also, plan on running Novak's 13.5t in super stock and mod. What is a good starting point with gearing and possible motor timing settings to try?

I run the vtx10 in my b4, vtx1 in my 17.5 sc10, vtx10r in my mod sc10, and the copperhead combo in my 4wd sc10. I love them. Smooth powerful adjustable. The pro gauge is great for adjustments. Oh and they have a bad a$$ military discount. With that said I would go with viper. And it is the same as the tekin rs and rs pro. If u are going to run 7.5 and higher just get the vtx10. There is no need for the vtx10r unless u are going to run a real low turn motor. Hope this helps. Tim

If you're going to run with us in mod, then 10.5 is mellow enough to get used to 2WD buggy with. As your skill/setup increases, then you'll want to add some boost to get it down the straight.

I'm running a mildly boosted 8.5 setup at the moment, and I'm liking the way it feels. If you ever see me up there, feel free to ask for any help, etc.

Go for this and just pic what ever motor you want. I suggest a 13.5 so you can run in that spec class (if one is avail) or you can boost and run mod.

I have the big bore shocks I'm running C carbon hubs, my local track is real rough though so I was curious if the Jconcepts A,B, & C carbon hubs will work and still fit big bores? Or will the exotek hubs work with them?
