Has anyone used the losi BLACK pistons in the rear? If so, what was your setup?I'm trying out 300cst with kyosho holds and black pistons in the rear, front is staying with red pistons and 400cst with kyosho whites. The rear previously had 375 cst with reds and the kyosho golds.

I ran 72/32 with a revtech 17.5 timing was at the 3.5 notch. Motor temps were 165ish after two warm up laps and a 6 minute qual, ambient is around 85.

140 after 5 and a couple hot laps? I would drop down to the 28 and try it too if I were you. Try to get the motor to run a little cooler...more efficient.

thanks chris i planned on going up for motox but it just didnt pan out i'll definetly be there for the odonnel race are you running anything at that race?
also i'm working on shimming the top shaft in different ways to get rid of some of the side load created by tightening the slipper. if anyone else has played with this i'd be interested in hearing any findings

Hey guys quick question, I have had alot of promblems the last race I was at. Most of them where with the turnbuckles and ball cups. With my front ball cup it threaded it self all the way on the turnbuckle and then with the rear it did the same thing. So I replaced them with new stock ball cups and this time on the rear the ball cup unthreaded itself ending my run early.

So my question is, is there any other ball cups out there that work better than the stock ones?

This may have been discussed earlier, but I couldnt find it...

Is there a kit to upgrade the b4.1 rtr from a gear diff to a ball diff?

I looked but couldnt find anything.

Though MSRP RC10B4.1 and MSRP RC10T4.1 have high prices, I think they are the best of the lot available.Their advanced features will make them the first choice for consumers.I cannot wait anymore to buy it.Thanks for the wonderful images.

Sounds like you could have defective turnbuckles...are the threads a tight fit? There should be enough resistance to prevent them from turning in the plastic. I would call AE and ask about sending them in for replacements.

For me, better. But I'm an on road racer...

jumped and landed better regardless of oil weight. IMO.
