How much more do the Avids weigh over the stock plastic? They seem like they'd be pretty heavy.

you can try yellow rear springs or even a pink

white for high bite seems soft...I had that happen to me and I just went up in a spring size. Of course Im on avids, way way better then losi springs.

What can I do about the big bore springs rubbing the turn buckle in the rear. I have tried spacing it out but it seems to put the shock in a bind when I do that. I am new to the hobby about 3 months into it and have read most of this thread but dont remember seeing any thing about this.

Last night I had a Venom 5000mah 30c pack go bad. I went into the shop and bough another Venom 5000mah 30c pack. But they redesigned the case and put "feet" on the case and now it wont fit under my Carbon Fiber battery brace. I am running the original B4 FT, not a 4.1. Is my battery tray shorter than the new 4.1s? Should I dremel the "feet" off. Does anyone else have issues getting packs to fit?

Unthread the threaded posts from the battery tray, just unthreAd it untill you can get blue thumb screws to tighten down on your strap

You just got a different venom battery not a redesigned one. The "little feet" your talking about have been on certain venom batteries for a while. To answer your question though yes you could dremel down "the feet" on the battery, or you could take that battery back and get something different. I personally don't like to dremel or modify things if I don't have to, so I would just go get a different battery with that said.

I don't think there's a difference between the battery trays. I'm not sure why Venum put feet under there. I run the same Venom pack n my 4.1 but it didn't come with feet. If it was me, I'd carefully grind them off with a dremel. Just don't go too far. Just go a little at a time and keep checking. Let me know how it works

all you have to do is raise the threaded battery posts up a little bit and your golden,i ran a 5600 in my t4 and it worked fine,no need to dremel anything off.

Yeah, I raised the posts, but it wont fit under the rear battery tray lip. So i had to put it on top of the battery box in the rear. it worked and survived a few hard crashes, but it annoys me, lol.
