Chassis looks pretty identical to me. Front and rear shock towers look pretty close, as do the arms. Not sure what the tranny's are like as I haven't owned an E-FS. I'm not saying they're exactly the same but they are pretty damn close.

no weight needed anywhere on the t4 except by reciever to offset the esc weight.

if your running very light lipos you may want to add some to the center of chassis. I went form running the orion 3800's(which are very light) to the newer 5400's(alot heavier).

picked up the new rear hubs tonight so i know have a full ft t4.1. ran pretty good and i actually ha.d a chance to do some testing. Anyone have a good baseline for running stock on clay. I used the Cactus set up from Rc10.com but i have to think that might not translate that well to stock

Anybody have any input on the new suspension geometry? I havent raced in about 3 years and slowly getting back in. Is the new geometry related at all to the new weight offset/distribution? Gotta say I like the improved hubs, might have to grab some.

Also, for those that have or have driven both 4 and 4.1, any noticeable improvement on handling? From both truck an buggy.

The truck has no geometry changes, just different setups and new plastic all around. The B4 just has a new rear tower with the "4th" hole and new plastic as well. I raced my old b4 last week (which had everything 4.1 except the chassis and shocks) using the new 4.1 setup and it was dialed, still lots of steering and easier to drive than ever.

The B4.1 is a whole different beast, i never did any good with the old b4 but the new ones first night out it got tq and took 3rd in the final so i would say the car is alot better.

The rear shock tower 3rd hole is the 4th on the old b4 its very smooth and the diff is easy to build

No, you need the new tranny case, rear chassis plate, and 2 10x16mm bearings.

Woke up too early this morning and now I'm patiently (trying at least) waiting for my lhs to open, and crossing my fingers they have one on the shelf. if so, plenty of pix and comments will be shared.
