I don't know anything about Kyosho. I was just wondering if the SC-R uses wheels like the losi 22sct uses (0 offset and same hex size)?

It uses the 12mm hex but has same offset as slash 4x4 and blitz

The stock springs are NOT X-Gear springs and honestly needs to be thrown away and not used. The new RB6 and RT6 came with actual X-Gear springs so I know Kyosho has realized that they need to provide actual workable springs now but until the new SCR-6 comes out, you will have to upgrade your springs.

"they" will NOT work on the SCR!!!

The front pivot will not fit unless you cut a good amount of the chassis away. The rear mount will fit just fine.

I've been getting a lot of requests for the aluminum chassis plates over the last couple months. The machinist I was using to make them kept putting me off so I finally broke down and restarted the project from scratch. I finally got the design finalized and got the first parts off the machine this morning.

If you are interested please check my thread in the for sale section:

Thanks,

Chris

It's hard to see in the picture of the new plate but I removed a lot of useless material from around the gear box. I also changed the radius of the corners at the tail end so that the aluminum rear holders would fit better. I also added that sweet logo text in the battery tray area.

Here's a picture of the old plate where you can see how much meat was around the gear box.
