I just ordered the Kyosho ultima sc-r sp and was wondering what spares I should get and keep in the tool box. Is there any hop ups I should get before building the truck? Any tips or tricks I should know about as well. Do the kit springs work or what do you suggest?
thanks

Front spindles, c hubs, front and rear axles. You need to upgrade the rear toe plates as they aren't aluminum and of you take a hard hit from behind it will rip out the arm and hinges out. Strc makes a lot of goodies for a lot cheaper.

I did break a front c hub, arm and a steering rack, but that was totally my fault for clipping a pipe at like 25+mph while looki behind. Other than that truck is rock solid.

You'll have to ask Goldy on oople as dont think he is on rctech.

He messaged me on FB and said it was good for s first run but needed some more drive and is tweaking his set up for the Australian clay

Post up your whole setup, then we can give you some things to try out.

I'm not sure about it off the top of my head since I'm not accustom with the ktruck. My ae truck I know my current setup off the top of my head. Just give me a good setup and I can keep in contact with you about which direction to go to fine tune for my taste thru pm or call on phone

It would be easier to see what you are running now, and give you suggestions to make it better, rather then giving you another set-up.

I cant say I've had that problem, when i run indoor on clay I just move some weight forward and all is good. You also might want to try 25* of kickup in front.

The Kyosho shocks are the best in RC.
