OK, I have searched for an answer to this question to no avail.

What FDR are people using for 17.5 Blinky? I have heard 7.5 to 6.3.

In my opinon there is no comparison. I just bought a sc-r sp and it is by far the best handling and driving sct ive every drove. Very smooth and easy to drive. The sc-r lets you drive it however you like to drive. You dont have to adjust your driving to the truck. I drove a Blitz for a year and have driven a friends sc10.

Can't say for blinks, but for 17.5 with timing and boost I run 20/82 fdr 10.66 at this track. Hope this helps some.

What spring kits are evrey one using? I currently have a used SCR on the way and trying to put a list of stuff together for parts i will need. Will AE springs work i have a kit for the sc10 which im curently using. Im running AKA rims with the spaces for the pin to go into, not the hex wheels will these work on the Kyosho?

This is the kit ive got coming. http://www.rctech.net/forum/r-c-item...osho-sc-r.html

I ran the 28/78 combo and the motor set with 20* and it came off the track very, very hot about 160*F. Also the truck started to lose speed toward the final two minutes of the main.

The AE springs will work but they will also rub the bodies more. I would definetly run the K springs. The wheels will not work if they are the pin type.

Hey guys,

I want to start using a new setup and I was looking into pro setups. I'm trying to figure out Which setup would be a good one to use? I race weekly at a small indoor carpet track so It has many tit very high grip turns. A friend of mine said he used tebows setup and it works for him. Also where do you download the setup sheets from?

Thanks guys,
Dan

SC10 hexes use a different offset and is not recommended to use them but they will bolt on because both use 12mm hexes. Use Blitz front/rear or slash rears on the SCR.

Both front and rear of the kyosho use the same offset.

Run the 70 rear

and the 75 front
