I dont even know where to even buy a durangi dex410. I dont even think there are any retailers in the states. Im sure its amazingly built by the looks of it. It might set a new benchmark for 1/10 4wd cars. Time will tell.

Durable? 4wd? In the sane sentence?

I went from a xxx4 to a b44 and it's night and day in durability, but still fragile

I give it that, and it's possible to race a DF03 car. But I bought a B44 the
end of that year and have never looked back. I didnt get a 501x til 2008.

Team Durango DEX 410, I have one and it is solid as a tank.

You have to order it direct from TD's website. Its in the UK but everything I have ordered from them has gotten to me in 2 day by Fedex

If you email them they will let you know when they are going to be back in stock

Ya but to me, its pointless to order a buggy with 0 parts support. At least I have db01 spares for my 501x.

But regarding what was said up top in the other posts, 4wd's are durable if you pick the right brand..Personally Id never buy AE stuff. I never had good experiences with their kits. My experience with Losi is the xxx-cr and I like it better than the B4, its in every way a better car in my opinion. On one particular track day I ran through 5 batteries and my friend was wrenching on his B4 all day. Barely got any track time in. I dont know if that extends to 4wd, but from what Ive seen I would go Losi over AE anyday, but above all I stick with Tamiya. The DF03 was a fluke, the DB01 properly setup...priceless.

Parts support is awesome. If something breaks, I go to their site and order it. It ships the same day and I'll have it 2 days later. You dont need a distributor in the states with shipping like that. The customer service is Top notch also. There was a few times I email them because I had an issue with the kit and they would send me whatever I needed no questions asked. FREE

I order stuff in the states and I dont get it for 4-5 days

yes, a dex410 will combine those words in the same sentence - - - - it uses B44s and D4s as speed bumps and target practice

hands down most durable - it only fails on the mechanics end

Its definitely worth the investment if they support their customers. Definitely worht the price but at this moment I invested in a 501x and maybe some time in the future will run the durango.

B44's are tough, but still break a-arms if you hit something hard enough.
A front shock shaft every once in a while.

Although I've never broke anything ever on my 501x worlds edition.
**Except a rear shock tower due to the fact it was already cracked
and the screws in the shock tower mount came loose and I forgot
to tighten them down. Landed on a metal stake that holds the track down.
Directly on the rear end, the bulkhead being aluminum transfered all that
stress into snapping the rear shock tower.
Been through 2 race weekends and a couple practice sessions.
(I dont drive the car that much, but I'm starting to knuckle down
and drive it more often.)
After putting a new tower on the rear it hasnt broke yet, as these
cars are tanks. Never broke an A-arm ever on my 501x WCE.

I heard they were making a cheaper version of the durango.
That would be a GOOD IDEA. As $630 is insane for an RC Car.
Lowering the price will make it even more better, and affordable.

That would imply that the B44 is a force to be reckoned with...I disagree lol.
