Hey guys,
My Vorza goes straight when rolling gently but goes to one side under strong acceleration. How do you call this behavior ? And what causes it ?
Other than that, it's running really great.

BTW I have changed the rear shock setup :
- oil from the stock 45 to 50wt
- swapped the stock 60mm rear spings (orange) with 68mm Red (81Gf) springs.
- most vertical shock position (outer hole on the tower, inner hole in the triangle)

29mm riding height.

The result seems improved but the chassis will still hit the ground on jumps, even not huge ones.

I wonder if I should go further and use 60wt and/or go with the 1.2mm holes pistons. I would like to make it work without dropping $$$ on the 112 shocks + shock tower.

I called HPI and they said to prevent the chassis from slapping the ground they recommended the 112mm shocks and rear tower. Something about the shock having more downtravel would help. I still can't grasp that idea though. To me it's because the ride height of a buggy is around 29mm and that is not enough room for it to not hit the ground. Can someone justify that that is how a buggy is meant to be though? I would understand with the 112 mm upgrade that the ride height would be higher that it would help but how can the down travel being longer help?

HPI ofcourse really loves to sell those rear shock upgrades they make good money on those i guess..

I also have it, but there are other things you can do like just putting larger ball ends on the shocks
Or maybe just get the 112mm shock shafts, im not sure this maybe could help also
Maybe these help for the suspension: http://rcshox.com/shoxshop/catalog/p...products_id=39
I really dont know

Yeah...go with the 1.2 pistons. The increase in pack will help with bottoming out...although you will never eliminate it completely.

Yea it should work, can't guarantee it since the one I know for sure worked was the Racer's Edge one. And even then some people report that sometimes a capacitor doesn't fix the browning out 100%.

That's personal preference, I run two 2s because I own 2 1/10 cars as well so this way I can switch my batteries around.

For 4S I go 2x2S and for 6S I went with 1x6S since it was cheaper this method... Also 40C I won't go anything lower and 5000 mah minimum depending on size of lipo. I get around 50+ minutes on the 4S

I have not yet gotten my Vorza so I am pre Noob even, however from what I can see those lipos are way too long for the battery box of the Vorza, at least check up on the size

Best regards

I think that is very expensive... but that's just me. I've been using these Turnigy 2s 40C 5000mah and awaiting this Turnigy 6s 40C 5000mah I've been impressed with the run times and I also switched the 5.5mm bullets to these EC5 Connectors which are 5 mm bullets. Soldering these on is a breeze... Check my earlier post here

I would have to agree that does seem like a lot of money, granted they are considered some of the best lipos by most.

This is what I use, found some bullet connectors designed for 90degree placement on a battery pack at my LHS which are perfect for the vorza. Wire length is just to my correct length to not create any extra slack underneath the body. When I need to charge, I just use the typical connector with the balance tap.
