I am running Slash fronts with an SC10 body. No Wobble. I have CVDs and OFNA Aluminum wheel hexes. No problem.
To keep the nose up off jumps just keep you finder on the throttle. This truck is awesome if you can control the throttle. I had to learn how to drive this speed demon which took me a few months. If you have driven an 8th scale it should be similar.
Mandatory upgrades:
1) 4mm Lundsford short turnbuckles for the front upper A-arm. Drill out the hole a little to fit.
2) Rear CVDs to reduce bone wear
3) Steering Turnbuckles -- I use Traxxas Slash upper camber links others use Dubro capture ball ends.
4) Tire and Wheels to match your track
5) SNR tall towers to mount rear shocks on front.
If you read through this thread you will get a lot of other ideas as well.

I would agrew with Amoeba. I had one qualifier that was screwed up cause the axle pin came out. The o-ring retention method is not as good as the grub screw.

hi. my son just got a used jammin and I need some help. I skimmed thru the 486 pages but didn't find a current setup.
the truck came as a roller and I added a novak 4400 motor and jr650 servo. the first test sesion we went thru 2 servo horns. the thing nosedives so hard it its jarring the front wheels. it does have the aftermarket frt bumper (not sure on the brand off the top of my head) I had him start holding wide open throttle in the air and did help the lawn darting issue, but still hits bad
also the on throttle push was terrible.
I printed off the chad bradly setup and should have time today to try that. anything else I need to add?
just incase, I'm running a very large track (200x140) with hard pack and some loam on top. ss enduros all around.

Do you know what diff lube you are running? I changed to 5-5-2 to help front bite. I have long rear shocks in the front with single hole piston and 45wt oil. Rear I changed to stock two hole piston and 30wt oil. I would also use -1 or -2 toe in the front. This will help steering.
Driving any 4x4 SCT is challenging and requires a great amount of throttle control. I always hit jumps at part throttle and accelerate or brake depending on how the truck flies. I love the power and ability to control the truck in the air. I have been able to hit huge jumps and fly up to 50 ft and control it. I would recommend that more time driving will help anyone.

I did it without cutting that piece. You just have to MacGyver it a little bit. ![Big Grin](https://www.rctech.net/forum/classic_images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I let my neighbor drive my car the other day
and he T-boned a concrete light pole
. All it did was scratch it. And moved my gear mesh a little.
Very happy with it to say the least.

I did find the shocks low on oil all around so started with 50 f, 40 r, will try that tomarow.
I argree with the way the 4wd feels. I have a 4x4 slash and has been the best, funnest truck I have had in 3 yrs of racing. I got it dialed in and have had a blast winning some races. sold off all my other stuff and will continue to enjoy short coarse.

I mounted it under the chassis dude. I didn't want to try shaving it down and losing material/strength in that area.
