They are a bit tricky to get on due to the 4 bolt design and there was a slight change by Jammin on the front end of the chassis around the brace area recently, but if you follow the instruction below exactly, they'll go on in 2 minutes (DJ can probably do it in 45 seconds )

Default glitching issues

I got my scrt10 with fantom 5.5 with a 15t pinion i am running a hi-tec 7940th servo with a castle bec glitches badly with sensor wire plug in but if i unplug the sensor wire and run it in smart sense mode it doesnt glitch. i would though like to run it in sensored mode without it glitching does anyone have any solutions. My esc is a MMP.

Hello,

I just had my 3 run Novak 4.5 SC motor take a dump on me. I was running it with a Mamba Max Pro, with sensor wire.

Anyway I was wondering has anyone had any success running the Traxxas VXL system?

You can't run that servo in the MMp. I tried the exact one. Change the servo to something that will have less amp draw or use an external BEC. I spoke with Joe from Castle about it and they have been recommending an external BEC. I just changed the servo to something with less torque and speed.

Try the SMC 6000 mAH 28c and set profile smoother throttle profile, I rather to use Novak HV Pro esc, it last 10 minutes.

You either have:

A bad sensor wire

OR

Your sensor port on your MMP is bad.

What radio are you using? We had similar problems with a dsm1 spektrum receiver and was able to correct it by adding a spektrum capacitor. I was running dsm2 recievers and it was not a problem until we went back to the dsm1.

Default glitching

I changed out my servo to a lower draw hi-tec 645mg and still having the glitching problem so im at a loss. Race crafter I think your right I am going to try a differnt sensor wire if not then its got to be the MMp sensor port. should have stuck with my 540 motor esc set up. thank you for your advice.

Default PBS Setup?

Hi all - I just ordered the PBS conversion along with the parts needed to convert to the rear shocks in front. Does anyone have a setup that I could start with? I've been using Bradley's latest geometry and piston setup (with a slight oil change to suit my track). Would these same settings translate well to the PBS and rear shocks in front? Not sure if the PBS will affect caster settings and if the long shocks can get the same feel with the same pistons and oils.

Thanks in advance.

With my long front on outdoor setups,

-2 camber front
0 toe
50-60 weight oil, 50 for smaller stuff-60 for 1/8 scale layout
I put the 2 clips on the PBS front (by shock tower) will make the steering smooth like a baby's bottom....

Also when you tighten the PBS, I left a very little bit of play....That will take some stress off the servo.
