Couple of questions for anyone who has received EliteRC shock towers:

1. Does front tower include the bumper mount support hole?
2. Will towers support use of stock shocks?

Or even solder to the esc, the one i use is good up to 7.2 v (2 cell lipo)
but other fans can go to 13 v.

My Havoc Pro has a fan mounted on it. Is this enough? Do you think that chassis slap is a concern for the ESC? The Havoc has a better design for impact IMHO cause the circuit board is suspended. I have had mounting tap not hold the ESC enough too. What mounting experience do you have? I can see wiring being better.

I suppose that I should just give it a try eh.

The answer to #2 is no. You cannot use the stock shocks on the front. You CAN use the stock shocks on the rear.

As far as the bumper question goes, I don't know because I only have stock shocks for the front and am not using the front tower right now.

i am not positive on the bumper question but somebody over on RCM is having trouble mounting their bumpers up to the ERC towers. personally i have the TBR bumpers and although i think they mount like the stock bumpers i did have to make a couple minor mods to mount my bumpers. you should PM brandon. i am guessing that because they are a modified tower that most guys running them have modified bumpers of some type also since the stock bumpers have reportedly been weak. maybe they dont mount up directly to stock bumpers......but i still love my ERC towers for sure.

anyone else have any findings on this?
