I have finished assembling my SC10 and need to decide which servo to get.
Rather than asking for a particular servo, what torque/speed do you recommend? Is something around 100 oz/in of torque ok? How about 125? 150?
For speed I'm looking for something under 0.15 seconds. Does that sound about right?

Transit time: 0.13 sec/deg @ 6V
Torque: 12.5 kg/cm (173.6 oz/in) @ 6V

Putting a servo in with anything over 70oz is a waste in this truck. This isn't a 12 lb monster truck. Speed and good centering, thats what you want!
I put a $40 JR DS811 with 70oz of torque and it works just as good as my high dollar hitec 5645 titanium gear servo.
Answering your question 70-100oz and .12 transit time is plenty.
So save your money.

i had a stock jr 317 in there and worked fine for a while till a bad landing stripped the gears. now i am using a futaba 3305 mg and is doing fine too. has anyone run this truck without weight, i found a good combo , 45 wt oil in the rear and blue springs and 25 front with green springs . memory foam in the tires, the battery as far back as possible, not breaking any records with it but still not adding any extra weight. i like the jumping and handling so far, the jumping straight and flat was the best part.

Woo Hoo!
The SC10 has arrived on my doorstep from RC Planet. Only 7 days - States to Australia. Bloody Fantastic.
Let the Build begin.
Oh yeah, how long of a Sensor Wire do I need if I keep the ESC in the standard position? (New motor didn't come with one)
