Yep, that is what you want to get... and yes I run one as well for my "power guzzling" Savox servo. Check to see if you can find one made by Spektrum. I believe they are a few bucks cheaper, and the exact same thing

Why do you want to try something else... any certain reason? I think the M11 is about as good as it gets especially for the price. I mean, if you want something better, the Futaba 4PKS is your best bet... really responsive and very customizable. I surely don't think you would find a Spektrum radio better then the M11 though. Just my 2 cents, please don't get angry at me Spektrumers

If I get a chance tonight or tomorrow I'll post the carpet setup I was given by one of the fast drivers at the track I go to. Just as an FYI, we are allowed to run foams but the setup appears to be common with people who don't use foams either, and its very fast on the track conditions, which are very tight with a lot of 180s, 30 x 30.

for those using the losi springs.....are you using the 22 T springs in the rear? I have a set of 22 buggy springs but they are pretty short by comparison to the sc10 stock rear spring.

Well I bought an SC10 2wd with a Velineon set-up from a member here. Going to try my hand at racing. I will ask my LHS about set-up for their track as they should know that best but I did want to see if there are any recommendations on must have parts or when I break a certain part what I should upgrade it with. It should arrive tomorrow and will post pics when I get it. Thanks guys.

None Taken. I know my DX3r Pro feels cheap being so light (which I love it being so light) but the computer and ergonomics are delicious.

You didn't mention if you had a FT version or not, or what parts yours came with, but there seem to be a few favorites for upgrading. Find out what tires are the hot ticket for your track. That'll make the biggest difference in handling. I think getting the adjustable rear arm mounts are very helpful. They're not much money, and allow you to adjust rear toe-in and antisquat. A decent metal geared servo, ball bearings in the bell cranks, and a glued servo saver are big improvements, too.

It has a waterproof Traxxas servo. It is not the FT version. Here is what the seller had in the post.

Like new AKA Wishbones - yellow wheels
Like new Proline Suburbs - white wheels
Hex Conversion
NIP TA Front A Arms - part 7446
NIP RPM Rear A Arms - part 70742
NIP Front Bulkhead - part 9563

So I just want to take make sure I have parts I might need to replace. My LHS seems to have a ton of Associated parts on hand but if there is something better I can replace whatever breaks with I want to have it in my pit box. Like I said new to racing but I don't want to look like a total noob out there. Thanks for the help guys.

~Edit~ It says RTR with some mods. It looks like it has aluminum shocks? Unless it came with them but I am not sure. Thanks.

Looking for a good indoor carpet setup.

Springs front and rear?

Red front, green rear

Oil weight front and rear?
40wt front, 35wt rear. AE oil.

Toe and camber?
All at Zero

Swaybars front and rear?
Both Factory rear kit, custom front.

Weight setup?
No weight

Battery position
Middle

Other
Stock front tires with kit foam, Kyosho SC with proline insert (no Tire Dope)

On my local carpet this setup is hooked up. Truck is very neutral.

Default Carpet Setup. Not the flat gray onroad type carpet

Brushless420,

Schumacher mini pins are the tire of choice fr & rear for SC10, rear buggy.
SC10setup red front springs , green or gray rear,
some are running as much as 60 fr & 50 rear, try 45 & 40, 1-2deg neg camber.

DON'T BE SCARED

Lake, I have an addiction problem, I have had the M11 for about 3 years and I need something new. I think I will go with the MT4, I love Airtronics so that is just the logical step.

I feel exactly the same, haha And, I agree Airtronics is the bomb-diggity, it's what I use as well. Are you considering the MT4 because of it is telemetry ability?
