Now I don't want to touch it! On this controller it's just a spinning nob. Can't pinpoint exactly what it would be at. And I wouldn't know how to figure out how far the servo can safely go.. Deffinitely don't want to risk loosing more servos

To set my epa on an mt4, I max out both end points then bring it back a little to eliminate stress on the servo. I can also hear my servo when it is being stressed.

Buna it the type of rubber, which is firm and not good for sealing against moving parts. Silicon rubber has less friction which is why they use that.

I wouldn't use EPDM or Voting either.

EPDM is the same kind of hard rubber used to make pond liners and roof coverings.

Voting is a method for a group such as a meeting or an electorate to make a decision or express an opinion—often following discussions, debates, or election campaigns. It is often found in democracies and republics.

EPDM and Viton ...... Damn auto text on my phone.
Both are types of rubber that are for certain chemicals. I use EPDM on Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic) and Viton on Sodium Hypochloride (Bleach). Also there is PTFE which is hard and basically plastic which is used for Acids.

Buna will have more friction and make the shock stickier and give inconsistent movement.
Associated o-rings are Silicone and are better suited for the movement of the shock shaft. McMaster Carr sells Silicone o-rings as well. I buy my hardware for my truck from them as well.
