For those of you have done the hex conversion, do you notice you gain a lot of slop?
I have check out a few people who have done the hex setup, it seems there is a TON of play between the hex and the pins, added to the play it already has, it seemed like the cons out weight the benifit. Maybe its just me...

When you add the shims you still keep those two little shims between the bearing and pin on the axle.
Mine are running strong. haven't even broke a axle pin for a while lol

I have not done the conversion but will be buying parts for it tonight provided my lhs has everything in stock. My question is... my front end on my FT seems to have some normal slop in it and thats what I am wondering. Is it normal to have some wiggle in the steering itself?
Also I have been looking into replacing my servo with something upgraded. Sugestions?

I run 13.5 - 23/75 with only 6deg physical timing and it never goes over 150 even after 20min of running. Any higher on the spur and my speed would be like that of the 17.5s at my track it seems to me.

I haven't noticed anything like that. Assuming the ratio comes out the same, the performance I have seen has been the same. the main thing I have seen is the position of the motor affecting how it handles.

In researching 13.5 no boost gearings in the past I came across: 25/75 & 19/81 for OCRC or something in Cali. Idk...
