Not necessarily a Losi guy (only 25% are Losi's currently). Losi has dissapointed me with not having a 22 SCT or a XXX-SCT CR yet so I am looking for an SC10 FT (best bang for buck for proven truck) for this season.
I saw it on another forum it could all be BS - that is why I asked here.

Those Kyosho springs are $20-22 a pair.

An update to Hexes all around, updated steering rack, and other knick-knacks wouldn't surprise me. A full on revision of the 2wd sct while Cavelieri is still running an sc10 4x4 with prototype parts, non-ae-issued chassis braces, and saddle packs would make me question how they are prioritizing their R&D dept.

I second that CoyoteSlash, I just completed my FT build last night. I would be irate if I just missed a new version by 2 weeks or so. However, I don't know how true this is, so I am not going to get very upset yet.

Personally wouldn't mind going to all metric hardware.
Part of the reason I got rid of the SC104x4 before even building it was all the issues and how people had to fix them outside of AE parts.

Because it's brand new and only saw the press light of day on 12/31.
When it is available, you'll be able to find it here:

I don't know if I'm super confortable rigid mounting a servo in an off road car...

If I ran the new Hazard wheels on the back of my SC10 would affect how my car handles? So running Hazard in the rear (Hex) and Rulux in the front.
I'm running bearing style in the front since I have quite a few and will not convert to hex just yet.

Running a wider track in the rear over the front should give you more steering, but you probably won't notice much of a difference if any.

Are the FT ballcups the same as the rtr? I just bought a set of ti. turnbuckles from a new FT and I have RPM ball cups on my rtr turnbuckles should I salvage them or just the new ones that came with FT turnbuckles? Thanks!

So brought my new toy home and opened up the box, charged the batteries, and drove it around my house somewhat slowly. However I have noticed that I am getting a clicking sound out of the rear tire opposite of the motor and the tranny has a grinding sound coming out of it. I am assuming it was just a poor build due to Christmas rush and that I have to redo everything. Any help you guys can give me would be great. Also if I start tearing it apart do I need to get anything other than thread lock?
