SC10 Thread

IDK, I noticed that people break a lot of arms at the track so to avoid DNF I went RPM and haven't looked back. Not sure I'd be able to tell the difference of a flexy part vs. a very rigid part when it comes to arms. I have heard good things about the steering upgrade (STRC), that seems smart since there's quite a bit of play in the stock setup. What protective bumper/chassis protector (RPM/T-Bone/custom) did you decide to go with?
as well, and the RPM bumper/chassis brace.
I wouldnt have my truck any other way. It's way stronger.
The next thing I plan on doing is getting some FT turnbuckles and Blue RPM ballcups.

For a while I was running Losi XXX-T MF2 shocks with 35wt oil all the way around with 6 0.030" limiters in the front and 2 0.030" limiters in the rears (mainly to set front shock length similar to SC10 shocks while maintaining similar shock travel). They worked great, but now I'm running my XXX-T so I put them back on there. The RTR shocks can work, too, they just need to be refreshed often. I've found with 35wt oil in the RTR shocks they hardly leak at all and instead of rebuilding them between rounds I can go every other race day and still have consistent performance. The major problem I have is dirt intrusion rather than fluid leaking.

I might have to give that a shot. I haven't had any issues with the V2's on my B4.1, and next week I'm getting a FT SC10, so hopefully I can get some of those o-rings and save myself some trouble.

Plus they are hard to find.

I recently picked up a Mamba Max ESC and a Ripper 3900kv motor that i plan to run with the the stock spur gear in my SC10. My question is....what pinion would work best for a dirt racing and some bashing? With your answer, what kinda low end/high end ranges could i expect?
Also...am i wise to forego the mabma max and ripper and rely on for strictly bashing...or will this be 'competitive'
thanks!

At the track I've slowly given away all my spare arms to racers in need because they've snapped theirs.

OK, so I know that it is in here somewhere but I can;t seem to find it through the search. Can someone help. Is there an official/un-official steps/TIPS for building the Factory Team kit? I'm about to start building one... Or, is there another thread just for that?
Thanks...
Thanks...
