Anyone got any Silver rear springs that they want to sell or trade? I went to 4 hobby shops today and not 1 of them had the rear silver.

I can trade if you need, let me know which color you want.

Thanks for sharing that pic of the new chassis and springs....would be great to eliminate that little issue whether it hurts performance or not.

I'm not an AE sponsored driver but I'd be happy to help, in any case.

I generally advocate coming to your own unique setup using the method that is advocated on The "Tune with Camber Links" thread.

If you want a solid baseline setup for indoor clay you can start with this...

http://www.teamassociated.com/pdf/ca..._ocrc_2010.pdf

A lot of people use this with great success.

Send me a PM if you would like more detailed information about indoor clay setups for the SC10.

You probably didn't get people jumping up and down to respond because similar questions are asked and answered several times a week on this thread. Please read the old posts and you will have more set up information than you know what to do with.

I use the 2010 Maifield Roar Nats setup on every track I've been to and the only thing I change are the tires. It's an excellent setup. I did make a few changes though. 32.5wt all around and using the C hole on the rear hub with 2 washers underneath the ballstud on the u brace. I use this setup on both my 17.5 and 10.5 SC10s.

That is great setup too! It isn't especially different from the Cavalieri setup though. Shock oil being the biggest difference

Jr mitch setup works great. Except we use blue front springs and the rear c hubs

Hey Monty, a few weeks ago i was asking for help with setting up my sc10 for racing at mikes, well OSO Negro has helped me tremendously. I do think thats why my truck was setup so well on saturday. He runs on a track quite similar to the one at mikes and gave me his setup, as you seen it worked great for me. 1st place in novice for only my second day racing. I agree some of it is skill(years of playing with rc vehicles) but alot had to do with the setup I honestly believe. So thank you OSO, without the help I would not be moving up to Stock, can't wait for Nov. 5th, Ill be there on saturday to practice, cheers

you shouldnt be temping after 15-20 mins. you should be temping for the length of your heat/main

for example, if you run 6 min mains, i would gear to be at about 160 after 6 mins

The library of setups for this truck is big enough, and the truck is sorted well enough, that they can spend their time doing other development work - like on the SC10 4x4 which is neither sorted nor has a large library of setups.

What I suggest is figure out what tires the fastest guys run at your track, and then find setups on AE's website or PetitRC that use those same tires. Using this stragety, I was able to win every heat and main my first day out at my local track straight off the trailer, making not a single change from the time I unloaded to the time I went home other than charging the battery. I think I might of turned the brake EPA down two laps into my first practice, but technically that is the transmitter.

Here is what I use. I run slightly lighter shock oil because its cooler now than the middle of the summer when this setup was done.

My truck remains fast and easy to drive with 'about' the same setup indoor and outdoor, changing only to the proper tires/compounds for the conditions.

Here is most of the setup library:

http://www.petitrc.com/setup/associa...iatedSC10.html

My 4x is just a nightmare to drive compared to my 2w, the 4w is downright evil. and it's all setup. My 2w is just a pleasure to drive. The 4w is getting better.

Hello, can you tell me what are the spares I will need for a SC10 FT?

I will use it for racing & bashing :)
