So, ok.

Was running the stock 3? degree rear toe block with 1 degree STRC hub carriers and 0 camber. Truck drove great.

Swapped to 0 degree Trinity rear hub carriers, the 4 degree toe block, and set the truck back at 0 camber.

Now it's oversteering all over the place; nothing else has changed about the setup. Did the longer camber link do this somehow? It had to be turned out quite a bit to get it back to 0 toe since the Trinity hub carriers are not as tall as the STRC hub carriers.

PLEASE ADVISE, GENTLEMEN.

would think the longer camber link would add traction, going to 4 deg. block shortens the WB but neither of these should make a HUGE difference....got me man

That's what ThunderbirdJunkie thought, too.

Got another race day on Friday, so gonna dial in about a half degree of neg in the rear and see what happens. Should be colder though. probably gonna put 25 or 20wt oil in the shocks since they've all got 35 in 'em now to compensate for the temperatures dropping.

I don't really run in varying temps much so I'm not sure but in the "old days" before silicone oils we would have issues with shock oils getting thick, and I mean REALLY thick in the winter (back of the truck on the way to the indoor track) I always thought silicone oils were not affected by temp changes? Like I said it's never been an issue lately running indoor and I'm nicer to my rides now, they get to ride in the back seat of my truck with the heat on..:lol

Eh, it's gotten noticeably worse. The bumpy sections of the track ThunderbirdJunkie's truck floated over a month ago are now tossing the truck all over the place at 10pm during the main when it's like 35 or 40 out, as opposed to 60-70. it'll be closer to 30 out this Friday rather than the 65 (unseasonably warm) it was tonight, so it's going to be a huuuuuuuuge difference.

The silicone fluids aren't affected AS much, but they definitely aren't perfect.

10.5 and lower is a big motor for the SC10. Even the 3200kv crapper that's in the truck right now the truck will burn the tires all the way down the main straight.

Have you considered laying off the throttle?

Way undergeared, no? I run 21/84. It makes launches a bit smoother. Also try heavier oil/springs all around. Too much body roll is hard to drive.
Since I stiffened it up my 7.5 wont even make it fishtail.

you really need to try em and see what you think. But a cheaper/easier to test alternative is the pack of rear toe blocks with antisquat shims. 2.5 to 4 deg with a.s. shims all under $10. Scotty should have the pack.

Just for my own reference, what is the original kit (not rtr) rear toe-in? 2 or 3 degrees?

Also what do the newer brushless RTR's come stock with now?

I was thinking 2 as well. I thought one of the added tweaks of the RTR was another degree of toe-in?
