PTP- I take it you'll be racing at bumps and jumps. Me too. I have the Factory Team truck and I will try that setup first.

Yup, Ive raced there at least once a year since they opened. This year I wanna make it a more regular thing the last 2 years Ive only made 1 trip each. With the short course craze in full swing it just seemed logical to jump in especially when I saw the brushless rtr SC10. I hope to upgrade my truck to or near FT specs during the season.

Thanks for the reply! Can you buy the shocks built already? Cheapest place to buy!

Ebay is probably the cheapest place to buy. Some of em are built already, and some are used. But sometimes there are some good deals on the shocks if you catch them at the right time!

www.losipartshouse.com is where ThunderbirdJunkie normally buys his Losi parts. Now, the springs are not in that list, since we don't know what springs you should run with Losi shocks on an Associated truck with no track info. If it were ThunderbirdJunkie's truck, he'd run the kit-supplied AD2 shocks with the pistons shown in the in the instructions, 35wt all aorund and red springs front and rear.

Don't recall Losi ever offering their race shocks assembled.

Here's the AD2 instruction book, just skip to the shock section. Alternatively you could look at the XXX-T MF, MF2, and CR instructions, all the same...you may get a better baseline setup if you use the electric truck shock setups and go a hair stiffer front and rear for the springs.

No problem.

Those shocks are expensive to piece together from parts...but they're worth every dime.

I am thinking about upgrading to the v2 shocks.. Are they worth it? What size do you need for the sc10?

V2 way more betta than the Losi's ...

You don't have to take the cartridge apart , slime the seals & glue the cap of the cartridge back on to avoid a blow out ...

Not to mention they are super smooth & perform awesome ....
