You guys are going to make me buy one of these trucks.

I think I might just pick up one of the new bodied RTR's. :)

I just got done switching over to the GT2 rear arms and hubs and I'm just wondering what some of you other guys that have done this did with your shocks? Right now I switched mine over to the front with spacers on the lower mount to keep everything in line. I don't really like how I have to run the shocks so far inside now either since the arms are shorter.

rapster402 06-15-2009 12:47 AM

can you throw up pics of the gt2 rear end?

will g 06-15-2009 10:12 AM

do the ft threaded shocks for t4/sc10 use the same inner parts for the shocks as the ones that come with the trk thnx Will G

dgdcustoms 06-15-2009 10:15 AM

yes everything on the shocks are the same.

Are AE Listening

So this thread started on the 2nd April. Two and 1/2 months later, do you think AE are listening??

I guess specifically, I've just ordered some Losi rear hubs and hingepins , but just realised I need to drill out the arms to make fit. Therefore I won't ever be able to use AE parts with those arms.

Do you think AE will be bringing out options (sooner rather than later), or should we stick with using another manufacturers parts on our trucks?

Just go ahead and throw the GT2 stuff on it. I'm running RPM GT2 arms front and rear along with the 1.5 hubs. It handles alot better now and won't break. Mine actually made it through an entire race day this past weekend! It's first three track appearances didn't go so well. I broke a stock rear a-arm during practice before the first race, stripped out two sets of wheels in the second race, and then another idler gear in the third. After switching over to the 1/8th scale wheels, the stripped wheel problem went away(sorry, don't want to start this debate again:)), and after replacing the diff housing the stripped idler gear problem stopped. The stock housing must have been warped from the factory, as I went through 3 idler gears within the first month. Anyway, this thing just might work for me now, as it now appears to be bulletproof. I ended up finishing second this past weekend out of 12 and was two hundredths off of the fastest lap. I choked at the beginning of the race and had to battle my way back, but all in all I was very impressed with the way the truck handles now and I can't wait to get it back out to the track:)

Well for the time being your just gonna have to run Losi parts til they make the changes.

you can just run the racers edge rear hubs for b4/t4, 1 or 1.5 degree. they are a direct replacement.

i have not had any probs with stock parts besides me hitting pipe wrong and broke front arm. other than that my shocks leak and im looking to get the ft shocks but wonder if they leak too. also i have the ft front spindles and etc coming to get rid of the slop in front end. what does the ft set up do to the front end with different spindle and arm on hub besides get rid of slop other than that the truck handles great . im running different springs in rear but now great on the track just got to get front end down in the air. any advise would be great thnx

I have heard a lot of people talk about the shocks leaking. Are these the RTR's?

I have yet to have one drop come out of my stock shocks that I built for the kit.

Mine is RTR as well, and after about 50 runs, still no leaking. Are you guys jumping these things really high or what?
