Are you guys running it in smartsense mode or has anyone tried sensored with timing boost in an 1/8 scale?

Has anyone ran the mmp in high temps yet, I have one and a bit afraid to run it in my Ve8 on 4s when the temps are in the 90's. My tekin is holding up so far but not sure how long that will last.

hi there

its a extern bec a "must" to run the mmp on a 4s set up with thunder tiger 1015 steering servo in a rc8be buggy with a medusa 3670 2000 engine?
i mean, the nwe associated sc8 RTR comes with the castle 2200 engine and a mamba max pro controller on the market without extern bec

Shag I just got the CC BEC today and wired it up. It took away all my glitching issues with my Spektrum radio.

Hi guys,

Was hoping someone with a MMP could let me know how it would compare against the tekin rs pro & lrp stock spec esc's? I'm looking to put a mmp in my rb5 and start out in the stock class...will the mmp put out as much power as the rs pro or stock spec? Please let me know what you think...thanks!

Not to be argumentative BUT your glitching issues were probably NOT with the Spektrum radio as much as they were with a voltage drop due to high servo draw. The external BEC evens out the voltage to the servo/speed control/receiver/personal transponder. It would have glitched with ANY radio and receiver in all probability.

It was 98deg outside a few days ago and I bashed for 30mins continuous on 6s 5000mah with a 12lb monster truck. I usually get about 35mins runtime but was more aggressive than usual on the throttle and puffed a battery.. game over. The temp on the can reached 183. Still going strong!!!
