I like the idea of solder posts, he only things I like about the RX8 is the solder posts and its semsored. I still wouldnt buy 1 though, which is why I am going to get this esc as soon as I get a motor for it. I am going to pair this with a V2 Speed Passion 9.5 2160kv 8th scale sensored motor on 4S. When they hit the US.

Does anyon have the MMM and MMP and could take a pic from above them? I am trying to get an idea on how much smaller the pro is.

Sorry but this was a regular MMP and not the 1S version although I got to touch one of those 1C MMP as well. Intersting that both version I seen last night only had solder posts for the motor wires and not the battery wires. The posts are pretty tall, I would say about level with the heat sink. I was racing at the local indoor carpet/offroad track in Blue Springs, MO which happens to be the closest track to Castle Creations. Their shop is like 35 minutes from my house. The pro I refer to is Taylor James...you might of heard of him

You can look up exact dimensions for both of them on their respective product page in Castle's site.

dan if its a spectrum radio you need to upload the new firmware, had the same prob. w/ mine, works perfect now.

Anybody running the MM Pro in off-road?

Looking for a starting ESC setup for:

10th 2WD Stadium Truck 13.5 Novak Ballistic

AND

10th 2WD Buggy 10.5 Novak Ballistic

Just looking for any tips on what settings in particular I should pay attention to.

Thanks.

If a regular Mamba Max would do it the Mamba PRO should work with no problem.

Thats what I figured but someone said CC said its okay for 8th buggy with mild set ups, not exactly sure what mild is. I know 4S 2650 isnt but you know.

My ve8 ran a 15 minute main yesterday (almost 15... dumped right before it was over) with a 6s 2600/1400 t8 with the MMPro and it worked just fine. I believe it came off the track at 120 degrees although the ambient temps on the track were probably 35 degrees.

It seems to work fine, but until we get to run it outside in 90 degree heat with a broken fan, it is too early to say if it is suitable for 1/8 scale.

We used run with the regular MM with no problems, so I think the MM Pro will take it under most circumstances.

One did die at the track though... 4s/1900 but I think it may have been something else.

I would go 5S but cant find any cheaper 5S packs that fit. Maybe the 1400 6S then.

Keep in mind I plan on buying MM Pro .
