With all the LED's means it cannot find your radio system, have you tried changing out the batteries on your transmitter?
How do you set custom voltage cutoff?
I noticed on the Hotwire screen it has the voltage for custom and it's at 3.000, when you adjust that is that figure 3.000 per cell or the total voltage?
I'm trying to set a voltage cutoff for 3 cell of 3.2 volts per cell ie 9.6 volts, so should this read 3.2 or 9.6, I believe 9.6 just making sure........

Ok I have changed the batteries I the tx and the issue is still there...
It hasn't caused any issues yet and signal seems fine but I don't want to risk it.
What would be my next point of call??
I have a RX8 in an Associated RC8TE. I am installing a 2000kv truggy motor. What do you suggest for gearing?
What radio is it? Some frequency hop kinda slow and when the radio is doing this we can see it.

My RX8 has been cutting out the past 2 days. It will act like the battery is dying and then cut in and out. Temps have 160 to 165. I did take the body off and watch to see what the esc did. First i noticed that the fan does not come on when you first turn it on then when you squeeze the trigger it will learch forward and die. After it dies the first 4 lights will flash and then the last 3 will flash if you hold the trigger. Then after you release the trigger it will do it all over again. What could be the problem? It is still all set to the factory settings other then 4s for the battery.

Recalibrated and then hooked up the Hotwire and all my old settings were unchanged. I thought recalibrating would erase my previous settings but I guess not. It seems OK now, for some reason it must not have calibrated correctly the first time! Thanks guys.
Same thing happened to me once. Problem was solved by reinstalling the latest. Erosion of software is hotlink. But man I went thru some heartache trying to figure it out. And I had to do it like 3 tries because the program was crashing and it wasn't uploading. But. 3rd time was the. Harm and it just worked! Happened to a buddy of mine too.

Cool I'll try this too! Looks like I'll be purchasing a hotwire

My favorite smoooooth operator speedo died this weekend at West Coast RC Raceway.
The lucky part is the fire didn't took the whole buggy with it, as the fire started while passing the driver stand both me and other drivers noticed. The no-so-lucky part is that fire started during an 8th scale control practice session, where it became an unintentional Evel Knievel-wannabe firework stunt(complete with air time to boot) in front of large number of spectators and 1/10 scale drivers. A photo of the stinky remain:
Info on Buggy:
RC8.2e
T8 4038 1700kv motor
Protek 4100mah 4s 70c SP hardcase lipo(had 12 charges into this pack and the it works perfectly fine after the fire)
46 Spur/ 17 Pinion
No Boost/No Timing/
The speedo never temp'ed at more than 120F, the motor never temp'ed over 150F.
Fire started about 2~3minute into the freshly fully charged pack.
Owned 6 Tekin combos in the past 3 years and none of them gave me problem(Are they saving up the flame and let it out at once this time?). What should I do now? I brought this RX8 during winter of last year.
