Hey all! I'm in desperate need of a rear diff pulley for an MR4BC-S....any idea where I can find one now?!? Help!!!! I got shafted with a "misleading trade" and am now trying to rebuild the buggy so it actually looks like a buggy again.

I have one in my basement with a few spares. The car is in running condition and you really just need to drop in your electronics and go. If you are interested, pm me your email and I will send you photos.

"S" as in special? Get me the part number and I will check into it for ya. I can get a few nip parts, not sure if the pulleys are the right ones for the S.
This site has a manual for download if you need.

Default YEP

Yeah.. love it, I run the BL and YEAH racing 3400s and it flies.

I find it a shame that RC companies always have to try and re-invent the wheel, as I used to have the early 80s dogfighter and to be honest it handled and was almost the same design as this one, with more modern parts.

But thats business.

Nice to hear you enjoying your VINTAGE car.

A diff is a diff is a diff.. the parts that make it up and how they work have not changed in 20 years.

If you have your big rings.. and the CORRECT size diff balls so that the big rings are not pulling on the pully(or gear) itself then the diff rod has balls on it with thrust washers and spring and then your screw through to a nylok nut on the other side.. this is how every diff is made..

What can be the issue is how the balls are moving on the rings and the thrust washers .. both sets of balls must be complete and not missing even one ball, and they must not have groved the rings or washers.. if they have then they have something to hang on now..

Check all that out.

the newer car? No I understand it wont, but the older car YB4 will I think.

This car was a carry over from older models, with the MR4 touring car chassis and offroad suspension.. I think it works great.. I have one!

But the newer car with the split pack chassis is a total departure.. all the dimensions and parts changed.
