Gold Dirt Web's is our signature indoor clay tire - has good forward traction and really good side bite.

Gold Space Bar is our newest indoor clay tire - has really good forward traction and med side bite. This tire is really good on high bite tracks were you need more rotation/cornerspeed.

I really like using the FDJ Dew (green dot) tire sauce for med/low bite conditions.

thanks. got a track here that is grey ozite carpet with a non-hardpin tire rule, so its been common to run things like slicks and clay compound tires. The hot tire right now appears to be the positron or similar treaded clay tire. after initial hick up the octagons have been performing well, but would like a bit better bite that a treaded tire would give so was curious. I'll keep those tires in mind.

For your astroturf tires, what front tires do you recommend for 4wd buggy that in general don't require trimming? Will be running 2wd &4wd buggy, and 2wd stadium truck.

I have never trimmed the swagger fronts on Astro.

The Swaggers for 4wd would be the choice. If you still have to much front traction, you can glue the sidewalls of the tire.

As this is the JConcepts thread, I'd say you are looking for Swaggers #3166. I never understood why the EOS switched to the Cactus front tire when the 4WD stagger was a top performer. 4WD front rib tires FTW!

thanks. grabbing up tires here. Think I'll standardize on Jconcepts for turf for tires

Right now it looks like the main carpet compound is "pink" from jconcepts, at least what I see in amain, how does that compound compare to a schumacher yellow or blue?

You guys looking to offer premounts at all?

Any thoughts on a lockness style stadium truck rear?

Pink compound is closest to yellow. We are looking into premounts, but nothing soon, and no other truck tires at this time.

All packed up for the April Fools race. Dirt Webs and Space Bars and Octagons ready for whatever the track throws at us. I'll try to be the taller PW at this event. Good luck to everyone racing JC this weekend wherever you race.

JConcepts pink is a little harder than Schumacher yellow, but way softer than Schumacher blue. It combines a little less grip and wear vs. the Schumacher tires, and one some astro tracks and most carpet tracks, our fast guys prefer the truck Pindowns over the Schumacher Minipin to prevent traction rolling. In any case, front Swaggers seem to be the go-to stadium truck front tire. Larger pin rear tires (e.g. Schumacher Minispike) seem only to be an option for people looking for longlife instead of racing tires.

Except PW probably does not use a Tinker Bell suitcase to travel to races. HAHA!!! Good luck this week buddy.

They let me know yesterday that it would be end of the month or first week of May.

Thank you, that's cutting it pretty close with my first race on May 19. May have to go with brandx to make sure I have tires and leave the carvers on order.

Honestly we don't ever use them, we always use the Swaggers . My guess is if you are using the Pin Downs in the front, then you will need to cut some rows out.
