When does the winter series start?

I assume you mean the tires that were floating around the Worlds? We're trying to sort some things out so it may be a month or two before they're available to consumers.

Andy, I think it was July? Daytona was the last one, lol.

I keep trying to get to the track, but emergency paint takes priority!

I race VRC about once a week though, for 30 mintues or so....pretty cool. No torn up bodies or tires to buy...race entry is free, no gas, no flame outs, etc. , etc., etc.
But I miss the hanging out shootin the shiznit though!

LOL

hey guys. I thought I would stop in and say HI.

I have an original BJ4. ( actually it was preorder # 872 I think)
anyway It has about 10 runs on it, and I want to change out the pinion and spur cause its all loud. I think I sucked up a rock in there and the gears are both brutalized.
Anyway, I can hit the hobby store on the way home, so to save a trip, can you guys tell me the spur and pinion sizes that are recommended at startup. the website is down at the moment or getting too much traffic or something.
I wanna say it was 72/16 but I cant remember... this will be the first 'repair' for me on this fabulous car since I built it. the motor in it is an SS5800.

also, is there a .pdf of the manual available?
Thanks,
Pete

Hey Andy,
Are you going to be a tire gluing machine Saturday?
May need to pick up some tires from you for the T4.

The track was a lot of fun. Loved the step up tabletop triple thingy in the front. Traction was great. Know a lot of guys were burning through tires. Kept my double-d's all day. Guess that's what happens when you don't go as fast!
Popped a couple of ballcups but Jason hooked me up. Make sure you tell him thanks again for me.
It's all a learning experience. Definitely a lot different than just club-racing.

Wish you were situated here in the westcoast. Two things that I hate to do on RC cars are tire gluing and trimming lexan bodies (which is coincidentally the two things I suck most at )

Good to hear that you enjoyed yourself, thats what the SuperCup is all about. Do you plan on making the last round?

as soon as Bobby finalizes the date so I can make sure I can get that day off from work. Ocala is still within my driving range. I've gone to Wayne's World up there and back in the same day.

Andy, too bad you missed it saturday!

I did not mount a single pair of tires, instead I used a couple of used pairs from Pauls stash of spares.

I think it was a little slower, but I wasn't there for total domination, lol.

Maybe i'll see you at the next one!
