Hi,
Does the Aluminum Servo Mount Bracket (2445-1) fit the B6 buggy? http://blog.jconcepts.net/wp-content...800px_alt1.jpg Thanks, MiCk B. :-) |
Sorry to drop in on this thread, but I need to purchase 3 original BJ4 bodies. By original, I mean, pre-order-days-original body. I think I was #873 and #874 and #935 from the original preorder list. I was hoping you might have some lying around in the attic or something.
Can anyone here help with that? Or recommend a current body that will fit properly? Thanks in advance for your thoughts, Pete |

Need some tire Help
So I remember when the evo/60 series tires came out for 1/10 there was some speculation and possibly remember seeing how to's on mounting standard 2.2 tires to evo style beads. Is this possible? Do I just cut the bead off and glue as normal.
Any helps appreciated |
Any chance you folks at JC are working on a body for the Xray XB2?

Question about tire compounds...
During the winter at the indoor tracks around here the tracks stay moist and we're all on clay compound. During the summer with the heat and the fans on and the doors open it's a different story. Soft, super soft, mega soft. Should I actually measure track temperature and make my selection by that? Wouldn't a super soft give me a bit more traction than a soft or does it not work that way? I've actually had good luck with mega's and closed cell inserts but according to the temperature chart I'm way off. |

Gotcha, thanks for pulling that thread. Thankfully the rest of my cars are common enough for JC product. Thanks for the reply.

Does the Aluminum Servo Mount Bracket (2445-1) fit the B6 buggy? I love the Finnisher body for the B5M .... will JConcepts make one for the B6? question on carpet racing when you are not allowed to use carpet style pin tires:
At the track i'll be running at in the winter previously I used clay compound tires in either a very minimum tread setup (say a barcode sized tread) or slicks basically sauced. They worked well, but one of the very fast drivers uses a wedge 2wd tire up front and I believe something like a red compound losi ifmar pin. As they are not a "hard" carpet tires, those are legal and he doesnt' sauce which is kind of nice. Carpet is grey ozite mixed with something else, not sure what though as can be seen here:
For 2wd buggy, ,I am looking to use the one of the various 2wd front tires for carpet out there, but curious how does the jconcepts swagger compare to the schumacher wedge in yellow compound and do you run these without foams? Also, would flip outs be an option for the rear that could be similar to the losi IFMAR pin I described? Lastly, I wonder if a similar front and rear flip out setup on 4wd buggy would be an option too based on what i mentioned (right now using worn proline ions) |

has the cva kit (part #2437) for the b5m line been discontinued? thanks
