looks like the hex is deeper on the rulux-wheels.

is it only my car or are they for b44 only?

In order to use them with the BJ4/BJ4 WE you need B44 hexes.

If I put the B44 hexes on my car will there still be enough of the stub axle thread sticking out for the locknut to work properly? I personally haven't tried it yet but just "eye-balling it" looks like there might not be enough stub axle left.

Thanks
Robbie

Yes, it works. Use the B44 hex. Just make sure to keep fresh, low-profile lock nuts handy. There is not a lot if axle in the nut. But, with fresh nylon. It holds just fine. I have been running mine for over a month, with no problems of chucking a wheel.

Another week, another win on the Double Dees on the B44. Man, these tires hook up great and the inserts make the car PLUSH over the bumps.

Put a really thin shim on the axle between the rim and the hex. I found some spare really really thin metal shims (from what I don't know, they were just in my box...look like motor shims or suspension shims) and it solved the problem. I had the same problem when I had my BJ4WE when using Yokomo front wheels.

Andy- I'm sure this question has been asked before, but can the j82 wheels(REAR) be used on a T4?

thanks,
Brad

The J82 is a conversion kit for the T4, so yes the wheels will fit the standard T4 axles.

Davidka 02-26-2008 10:39 AM

Andy, will there be J82 conversions available for Losi vehicles too?

TwistedDog 02-26-2008 11:34 AM

I purchased a set of JConcepts tools awhile back. The quality of the tools is outstanding. The only problem I had was the elastic in the case pulled many of the stitches out. I emailed JConcepts via their website and they offered to send me a new case!

So ... JConcepts = Great product and Great customer service in my opinion.

I dont think so (at least in the forseeable future), they would require extensive modification.
