We will be offering a complete rear upgrade kit for $78 (alloy bulkhead, new graphite tower, and alloy wing mounts). The parts will also be available separately and I think the bulkhead will be $24.

We will also be offering the narrow hinge-pin set for around $30

I believe everything is going through QC and packaging now, so hopefully we should be seeing everything very soon.

Paul Could you please explain to us what narrow suspension pieces do? What other changes are needed to make it all work properly, track width, upper turnbuckle position??

They decrease rear toe. Will they be adjustable with inserts, or only come in predetermined values?

If that is the case then why is Jconcepts and Ghea marketing them as narrow suspension pieces? From what I understand the narrow toe blocks frt and rear are narrower than the factory toe blocks that come in the kit. PW please corret me if I am wrong.. Based on one of your previous posts you stated that if you narrow the hinge pins you also need to move the inner upper ball stud inboard as well.

I did some testing with some inserts and I still like the JC inserts, a lot of guys asked me how I got mine to last, I've had a couple sets in a few different tires and they last quite a while and I was asked how...I actually use scotch guard on them and blocks out the water for when they are washed....Just a tip for everyone. I really prefer the feel of the JC inserts

Can anyone explain to me why a set of double dee's (on a RC8.2e buggy) would have strips of the tread pins missing after only 2-3 packs run through them? When you look closely at the tires there is small spots where there is about 4 or 5 pins in a row just completely missing.

Usually only see that when jumping pipes, or powering off of them. The absolute fastest way to ruin a tire IMO.

Basically what happen is the C4.2 comes with a wider inner hinge-pin width compared to the original C4.1, but some of the drivers still prefer the C4.1 rear suspension geometry. So we are making narrower hinge-pin mounts to have the option of the C4.1 geometry on the C4.2 (the toe-in stays the same at 3deg). The wider pin mounts basically lower the RC and the narrower pin mounts raise the RC. Our new rear tower has the corresponding inner camber-link mounting locations for either hinge-pin geometry.

Like t0p_sh0tta mention; most of the time it happens when the buggy gets hung-up on pipes and excessive throttle is used to get off the pipe. There has been occasions when it happens on the very first run without any pipe jumps; this could be a defect in the tire and you should contact JConcepts directly - [email protected]

Small "y" to the inside has more side bite.

"Y" = more side-bite
"u" = less side-bite

Should the front and back be mounted different?

Driver/truck preference; more steering, less steering, more rear bite, less rear bite....
