Hey Paul,
Do you know if #0222 Hi Flow SCT Body fits the Ultima SCR SP? Thanks |
Thanks Paul, can you tell me between the 3 I mentioned, which one is the closest to 90mm width?
I dont mind having to trim up the nose a bit, but I would like a snug fit around the chassis. |

I am looking to try out a thin, light SC body. Is the Raptor SC body with X-Flow a light body? Are there any JConcepts SC bodies that are .030 thick?

JC's new high flows are some of the lightest SCT bodies on the market today.

The bead on the truck bar codes is dumb. The top of the side of the bead is not flat where it rests against the outside edge of the wheel--looks like the bead is an "I" beam. I glue all my 1/10 scale tires on the side of the bead, not the bottom of the bead, making it very easy to slice open the bead at a 45 degree angle for re-foaming. The missing material also allows for the tire to be pressed down into the bead misaligned at the top as well as providing less ability to keep the tire sealed against the rim at the side, lending to collecting dirt between the tire and wheel even when the tire is still glued well further down the bead.
Definitely do not care for gluing these tires up or this carcas design. |
Paul, I sent an email yesterday to [email protected] concerning b4.1 axles I bought and had a small issue with. Is this the correct email address? Thank you!

Is boiling the tires off the best method to saving the tires from a bad wheel?

What compound tire works best on a carpet track?
|

IOW, just boiling away doesn't seem to completely break the tire from the rim, it needs a little assistance. Just don't use anything sharp or else you'll cut the tire. |
What is the best choice for the mOst steering groovy rounder or rip?
