for those running gold bar code fronts on a 4wd. Do you leave the foam full or cut it down to 3/4? Thanks for the info. Nick

I trimed maybe a quarter inch off. Not a whole lot so the foam and tire would stay stiff.

That sounds about right. You can trim more for a softer feel, or leave more for a firmer one.

I dont believe so, if we get enough requests we will consider it though.

Why trim any off? I just bought the Bar Codes (first JConcept tire I've ever used). Foams seem huge but when tire put on rim, seems to fit good.

Hi Andy,

I am considering switching over to use JC's B4 wheels. These Jconcept Spoke Wheels looks great, but I would like to know if they have any "real" advantage over the original B4 wheels. Have anyone tried them?

Would they cause the car to slide more at corners and also less stable on the straight, since air could easily flow thru the spokes? I always had the impression that dish wheels act like the side dams of wings, to a certain degree. So these spoke wheels would not have that effect. Am I correct?

Thanks very much.

Maybe a setup change would make the difference? Softer rear spring, move the tops of the rear shocks in one hole, 1 degree less anti squat, shorten the wheelbase?

I bought a high flow illuzion b4 body yesterday wich is my favorite body for my buggy. I've bought many of them and have had no complaints. However the one I got yesterday was not up to the same quality as the others. The lexan on the left half of the body was noticably thinner than usual and there is a wierd sort of ghosting of the top of the window in the middle of the clear window section. I assume this is just a random manufacturing flaw but I thought you might appreciate the feedback. (It's still my favorite b4 body.)

Its more for aesthetics, although our wheels are lighter than the B4 dish style wheels. As far as a handling difference, Ive never felt one, nor has Jason...

What tires did they ran at the front of their cars?

Regarding the JConcept wheels, did anyone in the A main use them? My only concern is potentially reduced side bite and straight line strability due to aerodynamics.
