Does anyone know if the ProLine Desert Rat for Rustler will fit the Evader ST? What about the Crowd Pleazer for T4? I just put a huge rip in the back of my stock body so I think it's time for a new one

I see all these conversion turning stadium truck into SC. Is there a convertion for the ST? I have one on the shelf collecting dust and thought it would be fun to convert it?

Your best option would be to buy Evader DT parts. I think you'll need A-arms, driveshafts, body mounts, wheels, body, turnbuckles, and maybe some more odds and ends.

Evader DT is basicly a BX/EXB with a truck body.

IF the chassis is longer than a ST/EXT you may only need to get that besides body and SC wheels.

I did a STSC >> http://www.t3t4webservice.com/Duratrax_ST_SC.html

Been thinking of converting mine since I have a practically new and rare pro edition with all the graphite goodies plus B2 H-G diff mod. No way I could ever reclaim that investment selling it. The main obstacle is extending the wheelbase if you need to fit within class rules. If it's just for fun, just add the DT/BX parts. I have a list somewhere, but it's pretty easy to figure out by downloading the associated parts lists from duratrax and comparing.

DT and EXT have the same chassis "DTXC6979", so that isn't an option to build a SC!!

===
IF you would want to do a build like I did, here is a source for metals, they offer "sheet sample packs" ($7.50 / $8.50 plus tax and shipping) that are sized 4 inch x 4 inch and in diff thicknesses. These would be enough to build many projects!!

They even offer CF!!!! :-)

Selling my Evader roller. It's in excellent shape. Very few scratches on the bottom on the chassis and body is in great shape too. Stripped the tranny gear. Bearings throughout. Have some new parts in packages too.
PM me if you're interested. Thanks

Finally got the brushless upgrade done on my Evader Bx!

The parts list:
Duratrax steel idler gear.
Duratrax cvd drives. (Nitro Evader Bx)
Tekin Redline 8.5T motor, geared 15T 88T.
Turnigy TrackStar 60A 1/10 scale ESC.
Reedy 3200mah lipo.

The result = Wheelies!

Also, not uncontrollably fast, and the motor and ESC barely got above ambient temp during my ~5min romp around the alley behind my place! I'm thinking about stepping the gearing up to 23T 88T to get a tad more speed; anyone think that's a bad idea?

Smile

There are still some out here. Don't think I have posted on here use more as a source of info, Thanks to all who have had input. Vader was first electric and have just got rid of last nitro since being converted.
While I'm here what is the lowest turn brushless the gearbox with metal idler can handle.
