The guy I bought it from had a few of them. I got mine for around $27 or so shipped. It's a solid piece. Supposedly the standard B2 diff gear is a lot better than the stock Duratrax piece. I just wanted to make mine bulletproof also. I'll see if I can find the guy's name I found mine from.
I set mine up for racing too. I have the feeling I'll be selling it for a T4 shortly though. It's a really nice truck though.
Mine also has a Mamba 5700... It really rips with that combo.

i went with the B2 diff gear a while back and it's been workin great so far. if it wears out i'll go with this one http://www.arrow-rc.com/ it's a little pricey for a diff gear but it will deffinatly make it "bullet proof"

i'm planning on racing at the shelby farms/ agricenter track. i used to race my bandit and losi XX at highway 70.. but yea. if you could find the guy's name, that would be awesome.

also, i thought about the b2 mod.. but what bearing can i put in it to fit the evader? if anyone know of where i can find the bearing, i would consider doing this as well.

would our hobby town or midsouth hobbies have one? i don't really know much about bearings. when i did the b2 mod, i just shaved the inside of the gear down and used the duratrax bearing, which is 5x10 i believe.. but obviously that would be a pain with the aluminum one

The Losi XXXT wheels fit just fine. Right now, I'm running JConcept Goose Bumps on the rear, and Losi 8-ribs on front. As far as bodies, I've always heard the XXXT MF body will fit just fine. Although King Pins will work better on that track I believe. For my backyard track, the Goose Bumps are awesome.

i'm just gonna get my evader to run with the mamba, then leave it be. I'm gonna get a slash and do all my cosmetic work on it. im thinking about a black body with a monster energy theme..
