Sure, the WiFi module is an extra $50, but I like being able to make changes/adjustments right from the driver's stand, without having to go back to my car or the pit to connect something(I'm super lazy...lol). No, but I really think that the Bluetooth/WiFi interface is the future, and I'm really surprised that more ESC companies haven't offered that yet. Eventually, I think you'll see BT/WiFi support built right into the ESCs, without having to purchase a separate module.

Also, I'm always still so surprised every time I see an ESC with one of those ancient (1986 lookin') power switches...lol. I think HobbyWing really has some things figured out right now, with integrating a power button right on the ESC. Not a huge deal, but I just like their attention to detail in some of these feature/convenience areas.

I think I heard that Maclan has an option to power on the ESC by just connecting the battery though?
The ESC's come with a switch that you can use if you wish. Or just plug your battery in and power it on that way.

For anyone interested, if you have the B6 alloy hubs and are putting them on your B6.1 they will need to be dremmelled to fit. Apparently any new ones bought will already be machined.

It looks like a few places in Europe have the kits in stock. LMR got them yesterday.
Still waiting to find out what's happening here in Aus. My LHS received the YZ-2 DTM2 yesterday. That's starting to become an option, even though I have all my spares etc for the B6.1

Can anyone confirm which idler gear comes in the B6.1D kit? And what idler gear would be used for the 3 gear stand up?

From what I have read/seen the B6D 26t idler comes in the layback and is what is used in the 3 gear.

Awesome. Wasn't too sure if the new layback was using the same as the laydown.

Does the B6.1 kit include complete ARB sets or is it one wire each front and rear?

Most other manufacturers include the set, so hopefully AE haven't gone cheap and only included one size.

I think it will be the set. They don't have individual part numbers for each size wire.

Had my 2nd day of practice with the fully converted 6.1. Since my 1st run I added the 6.1 front and rear towers and gear diff (5k oil). The buggy was amazing. Had tons of steering and corner speed. I don't know if it just took some time for the springs to settle in but the suspension felt totally different than when I first ran with v2 springs (red front blue rear). I was feeling pretty good about how it was running but knew a better driver could judge better. I had the track owner drive it and in less than 10 laps he was doing times many MOD buggies were not doing - with an R1 17.5. He was blown away with the stability and steering.

I could not be more happy with how it is running now. It should be interesting to see how close my setup is to kit when the manual is published. Based on Jason Snyder's unboxing it looks like 5k is the correct diff fluid and shock oil is 40 front 30 rear. I am at 40 front and 35 rear.
