Awwwwww.WA WA WA .I think you can get some factory wp.I think hobbywing sct esc is wp and sensored. But most just diy.if you go the diy route I would recommend run an ebay search for sensored esc.there is a blue one that'll show up for roughly 20 new. It's a hobbywing rebrand. Version 2.1.I run it in my cr01.haven't wp it or anything but id try on a twenty dollar esc before messing up a good 110 dollar one. And to be honest I love the performance of the esc.

Right on, I'll give that a whirl one of these days. I need to throw a glitch buster in my rig as it sits, so glitchy with that monster Savox sucking up the juice! I want to try a tekin 550 sensored, but think I'll hold off for when I find a wraith to build. I'm beginning to really enjoy the crawling piece of this hobby and think I'm going to make this one a comp rig....although we have no comps around here so I guess I'll be competing against myself

You can waterproof a sensored system. Tons of videos to explain how on youtube. Definitely subscribe to squirrel if you don't already. im running a non sensored in my wraith at the moment and for bashing/trail its fine. For comp type crawling you must go sensored or brushed. IMO. Picked up a novak 13.5 I'm going to try with a tekin rs pro. Getting ready for a couple new builds. First is another wraith and other is scx10. Wraith is a way out as axles are ready and most of cage but no trans and skid yet. Scx10 is partial built 6x6. I need to decide whether to keep it 6x6 or not and maybe do wraith axles on that chassis or scx axle. Decisions decisions hmmmmm

a 6x6 with wraith axles would be very cool....!
IDK what to do about the brushless system, yesterday I changed gearing on mine to 20/80 with that 1370kv motor and i was impressed how much faster it was than stock(or what it came with when I bought it) 18/87. Of course, with that the cogging became very apparent while before it didn't cog much at all. wondering if switching to "high" start mode via the castle link might help? i figured sensored could be waterproof and oh yeah I definitely watch squirrel!
also installed the steel tranny gears and slipper from hot racing yesterday, holy loudness.
bevel gears.....any advantage to spiral cut versus standard?
