Found some buggy rear foams that I didn't use in the hobby room last night. I'm going to try putting them in today and then gonna get it real wet and see how they do. Have to work fast, the ice is coming quickly!

And that's a wrap for now, I think I'll leave it be until I have any breaks. The final parts list is below....

Hot Racing: Chassis, Lightweight Tranny Gears, Super Duty Slipper, Links, High Clearance Front Knuckles
110mm Shocks w/Losi T22 1.6 rate springs 25k weight oil
CF/Aluminum Servo Mount
Tacon 1370kv
Sidewinder v3
Novak Glitcher
Savox SW0251MG
Redcat Everest Beadlocks with 7oz Pencil Weights in each front
HPI Rock Grabbers, punched
20/80 results with about 6mph top speed and minimal cogging

All is good with this build except everyone I run with is into the scale thing so I don't get to be in any pictures....oh well. The addition of weight in the front tires upped the crawl factor significantly. The bearings on the bottom of the Rock Racer chassis make a huge difference in hopping logs too. Tires and wheels are an ok combo....still looking for something else on that as they are fairly low OD once mounted. 110mm shocks limited travel enough that the crawl factor got much better, but still articulates quite nicely. Only complaint is radio issues which I think a BEC will solve nicely. All in all, I recommend the chassis as it allows for infinite set up op options and easy access to everything. Thanks for all the help along the way hotrod87 and flou!!!

Update: Added a 3100kv 4 pole from China(Hobby People?) and I'm extremely impressed for a total of $18.90 shipped in under a week. Very fast, now I need a larger spur... Also added Hot Racing universals and easily gave me another 15 degrees of steering. Pivoting Hot Racing trusses don't do much for performance, but they do look kinda cool. Also, added a CC BEC and can't complain about that.

Love this rig, more to come....
