i really don't see why you would want to run boost in anything but a mod. running boost to make your car faster to overcome setup or driving hurts everyone. boost is dead in anything but mod, so using it as a crutch seems a little foolish to me.

just saying…….

Video is up from Sundays racing, complete with Race times in the comments. (Which took a good deal of time to fill out this time with so many races and with the race order shifting almost every run)

+ YouTube Video

Not quite ..

With ROAR .. the issue has always been the 17.5 (larger than allowed 20awg wire). ROAR banned/unbanned this specific wind. ROAR did not outlaw any other wind.

With BRCA .. they banned the 10.5 (larger than allowed 20awg wire).

Anything with Trinity's 20awg wire is probably out of spec and ROAR could have also banned the 10.5 for the same reason but they didn't .. I don't think they care about that wind because they don't have a 10.5 class.

IIC decided to ban the lot of them - no real reason for banning the 13.5 as it is in spec.

So I would imagine only the D3.5/17.5 is going to be illegal.

One thing I want to add to this is: Recently there have been few instances of people calling races at the end of a round that don't setup the resort/set the next round, open practice, or get the system ready for the next set of races.

If you are calling a race at the end of a round and don't know how to do that, feel free to call Jim, Art, Adam, Mario, or myself up there to show you how to do it. I believe its assumed that if you call the last race in a round, you will set the resort, print the heat sheets and get them posted.

Also for the first round of the day, getting the LiveRC updates, and Video working have a few specific steps as well, a checklist for that one would be handy as its changed a few times recently.

These are all simple things anyone can do, they just get overlooked from time to time.

Don't forget everyone the ePlex Fall Carpet Classic is this weekend. Forgot to announce it yesterday so attendance at 5280 may be a bit light depending on how many from Denver and South decide to go.

I would highly encourage those that are new to the club to try attending. The layout currently is quite fun and you'll get to experience a different track and environment for racing. There's open practice all day Friday (I believe a few of us in FC will be there) and there will be NO oval Saturday night so you will be able to stick around and practice Saturday night.

FYI, due to several 5280 members attending Timezone Grand-Prix the following weekend Chris, Sam, & myself (maybe Nate and some others) will be at 5280 practicing Saturday so we will not be at the Eplex for Saturday qualifying. We will race at the Eplex on Sunday thou.

Attached is the flyer for this race. If there's a class not listed don't let this discourage you, if enough show and want to run a class not listed it will be run.

If anyone is interested in upgrading to an Airtronics M11x Radio let me know. Comes w/ 4 RXs and Lipo bat. Works great, never an issue, just looking to upgrade myself.
