I'm in! Got the mod sedan ready to rival 17.5 speeds.

The Reedy crowd will be gone.

Will there be any stock touring tonight or are we pretty much running bare bones since the Reedy crew is gone?

It is so pretty. It's awesome. Thanks for doing it.

Something I wanted to do for a different project and I mentioned when you were fixing the display.

Any chance you could share how you did it? Or perhaps the way you got it going and I can get there on my own?

Which, the LED signs or the practice info on our site? Info on the scoreboard can be found here. It's been mostly unchanged since then. I started a major rewrite of the software, but it's pretty much impossible to test it without having the signs at my house so I kinda gave up.

The practice info is actually relatively simple. RC Scoring Pro writes practice laps to a file called practiceLaps.xml and gives every single lap its own unique number. I just scrape that file every 10 seconds and put the info into a database.

practiceLaps.xml is written locally on the track PC or their site writes it?

I should of asked last night. I just didn't think about it.

It's written locally to the PC that RC Scoring Pro runs on. I've got a script that runs every 10 seconds and uploads it to my server where it gets parsed and injected into the database.

Need some advise, what is the advantage of a gear diff in a xray T3. Good or bad, how does it effect driving and handling.
Any help would be great.
Thanks
Russ

Russ,

I assume you mean the front right?

When I put one in my car I noticed a few things. And by all means this is not an expert opinion.

1) The initial corner entry of the car was easier.

2) It felt lazy coming out. I felt like I couldn't mash and give it full wood before you were out of the corner. Didn't have the pick up and go.

That's about all I can remember. I put the spool back in and gained .3-.5 seconds on my lap times.

I could of built the diff wrong but given what I've seen I may of made it too hard to turn. So it's possible that it was acting like more of a spool then a diff.

If you would like to try it I'll let you run one that I got to see what you think.

I'm sure other can elaborate a little more than I can right now.
