Arapahoe is available for most dates we need. Price went up, and no more discounts for non-profits. Looking like it is going to be $700 per day.

The Arapahoe County situation is a problem from my perspective. We need to form a team that can go out and find a place to race. We need to start calling around again to try and find a place to race. Having to race off-road this winter does not make me happy!
I will be calling a couple of places today to see if I can find something as well.

yeah, i guess i thought the officers were part of the board. shows how much i know about politics. $700 seems steep, and will definately cut into profits that can be used to improve the track, etc....

If we can move it off Wednesday nights, I could make a meeting. Other wise I have to miss a Trans-Am race at the E-plex, and I hate to let Dinger beat me just by showing up!!
I also think we need to look at doing club meeting at least every quarter.

I just dont get how the the club cant get the board members to meet once a month to make shit happen DONT HAVE A MEETING ON WENSDAY BECAUSE GUYS RACE THAT NIGHT IN FORTCOLLINS. if you dont want the best for all r/c you should quit as a board member or I will help to get you voted out. I did not buy my way in as a board member, I payed to join this club and have fun. as a member of corrc I want a coppie of the bylaws of the club. we have more than enough out door racing in the summer. fix the indoor carpet problem. this is what corrc was meant for. not to kill r/c in the state.

Only since it was brought up and I had nothing better to do than finally read the bylaws...
The following line of Section 3 (c) should be removed since the club no longer requires ROAR membership:
"Members are also expected to join ROAR and pay applicable fees."

I am not going to get into this on the Forums...If you want to talk PM me.
But I can tell you that this club if for the racers by the racers if you want to have a voice get involved.
You make it sound like we officers and board members get paid to do this!
There are plenty of things to do, first would be to help and find a location to race carpet.
We honestly need all of the club members to get involved, just paying the dues is really not enough to keep this going. We can all do more if we want a place to race.
