Grande Prairie Model Racers Association
A rule from ROAR is mentioned in the CORCS rules as well. Rule No.12.11. Only ROAR approved Li-Po batteries are legal for competition. A charging pouch must be used for charging. Now if CORCS uses ROAR's rules, adding stuff to Fuel better be looked into before doing it in a race.

I have gone through the rule book for CORCS and there isnt any ruling that i can find that states on what kinds of fuel being used. I know there was one diesel revo used in the 2007 Winternats (aka. thumper) it ran really well max out rpm range 26K awesome torque bottom end horrible fuel economy.

Diesel fuels
Hello guys I have read some of the diesel stuff on here. The model engine diesel fuels which I have had some experience with over the years are different than that in your automotive/truck grades.Plus you do not use a glow plug head .The diesel model engine uses a head with a contra piston in it.This is to adjust compression aka (timing)
Model diesel is made up of Kerosene/Ether/and lube which can be castor, synthetic or a blend. There is one more important item and that is and ignitor improver. This helps with starting and improves performance. One of the most common is Amyl nitrate but Amyl nitrite ,IPN,Mek Peroxide and cetane boosters can be used. Now for a mixture you are looking at 50% Ether,30% Kerosene and 20% oil plus some ignitor added, cetane booster is about 4%.This is considered a performance or competition mix.I am no diesel expert but do have info on it and have played some with it and did a few aircraft engine conversions. No I have no interest in them Sorry for the long story

I didn't drive the truck so I don't know how it will drive and how it will behave on a race maybe it will heat up excesibly but I will try it next year for sure
I'll like to try diesel and methanol or nitro methane ; how do I get this ?

I think your going to have a hard time finding the proper nitromethane needed for our little cars. I have heard some guys in the states making thier own fuel but you have to buy it by the barrel.. dont quote me but only from what i heard. Methanol you can buy no problem but then you need the appropriate lubrication so your engine doesnt sieze.
You could use Canola oil such as they use in bio-deisel it is very stable abd provides the lubrication required. you could then use the same bio-deisel recipe to customerize the nitro content. must be some where i=on the net.
