Cool

In general, not always

Sportsman drivers move up after winning a points series, not midway through
Upon moving into expert, quite often they have another steep learning curve for speed & consistency, to the point where they are not a backmarker, and moving over for the leaders

In this way, Sportsman drivers have a gauge of where they are in reference to the next step when chasing the fastest sportsman drivers

ALL of you sportsman dudes should be cheering Ray on, in his quest for speed
He's gonna need all he can find

I've only been racing TC for 3 months I'm not expert I just practice
You get respect points for practice. Keep working on those skills. Hard to remind guys that you can just show up on race day and expect to nail it.

Keep at it.

Guys - I'm building up a Tamiya F104 v2 to race at TQ and purchased one of the Exotek 64 pitch spur gears (97 tooth) instead of using the Tamiya proprietary gears. For the track at TQ (and with a 97 tooth, 64 pitch gear), what size pinion would you recommend? Or would a range differing by 3-4 teeth be useful? Thanks!

The way the track layout is now I would go with a 33. More torque 32 more straight speed 34.
