Our whole track is in on it as well as others from different states.

A Tri state conspiracy at work.

Quit ignoring the fact he refused to communicate until dispute was opened.

As of today I still did not receive the car. It might be a post office problem. Seems it is stuck in transit. Hopefully it has the correct address. Anyway, wish there was better communication from the beginning with the seller. Had he just responded to my original PM's, and there was a problem that he told me about, I would have understood. Even if he was in the hospital, he could have responded within that first week. It wasn't brain surgery and he was on the boards in that week anyways. Just really bummed. Selling on this board is a commitment to the buyer. If they aren't willing to do that, they shouldn't sell stuff.

The seller has raced at my local track a few times and has a good reputation as a standup guy. It’s highly unlikely he was trying to take the buyer for a ride.

If the car doesn't arrive soon if push ahead with the paypal dispute. And let the seller file the missing parcel paperwork with the usps

Just a heads up...

The buyer (mx943) was just refunded the full price of the car from paypal. so now Hes got $300 and my car and Im left with a negative $300 balance on my paypal.

Ive contacted paypal and they said its up to the buyer now... Id like my paypal balance to be replenished to a 0 balance by the end of the weekend please.

If he is honest and the car is as expected then he should get the payment back to you. Or at least get the car back to you.

Let us know.

Well it did work out very well for MX943 who started the thread if he did indeed get the car and the refund.

Carbons2k on the other hand did not.

Tracking shows package delivered on 8/13..7 days ago.

MX943, what's the deal? You log in everyday yet have no comment..why? Any guess as to who looks like the scammer now.

carbons2k, when did they issue the refund? He got it, according to the tracking number, 7 days ago. I would assume you gave PP that info??

I got an email yesterday (8/20/14) morning that PP gave him a full refund. When I called to talk to them I also gave them the tracking # and they saw that it was delivered as well.

When did you check the tracking number and notice it was delivered? Did you at that point contact PP and let them know? I'm just curious why if it was delivered 7 days ago they would issue him a refund, seemingly, yesterday..

I had PMed him after it was delivered to kindly remove the hold on my PP since it was delivered and I didn't hear anything from him. He PMed me back and told me he wanted to send it back bc he got another car and 'didn't want to wait anymore'.

That's not my fault that he bought another car. I sent the tracking # and it took an extra day bc of the post office.

I just want this right. Yea it took me a little time to get it out to him but I did what I could to make it right bc its what I owed him and now Im at a major loss here.
