Hi Mark the Sirio's do go very nice (my dad has a shit load of CMB marine engines and they go mega hard apparently) so much so that i have just brought a 2nd one for the pre worlds to go into my MTX 4 and i also got accused of running 30% at our local club (as we are using the 16% rule) when i was only running 15%. Apparently Murnan in th US has modified a few and he said that they are the fastest he has ever seen after he has modified one, but i have only heard that from another racer its not first hand. Do CMB make or are they going to make a .12 for the touring cars?

Hey guys ok

Adelaide no there isnt someone handleing it down there but ive had plenty of enquiries, I can ship it to you in a 20 litre container for around $280.00 incl shipping.. that works out to be $14 a litre with shipping ... The 27% nitro is a little more .. thats for the 18% nitro Premium Ultra Let me know , id say get some mates together and go the chip in, The other alternative is to pester your LHS and tell them to get onto it .. lol

Hey Slo MTX yeah the CMB Engines are the S*&#T these engines are my favorite of all the engines avalable , Just my stock RS Pro will beat anythign ive been put up against and in a car thats at least 600grams heavier , mind you my driving isnt as good as others but just the pure grunt it produces is awesome, and these things will run at 90 deg C all day long ! and no they dont make a .12

Damn shame really , I have been collaborating with them on some pipe designs that they have accepted , i may design a 12 and put it to them .. you never know eh..

NOW ! Just a bit of exciting news from MasiveMods Fuel Developement, I ahve designed a new fuel and after months of selecting and researching oils , meth nitro etc we tested our first batch today and it was mind blowing what it did !!!!! Lets just say that this fuel is set to be the bench mark of fuels here in Australia, i dont know anybody that is doing what im doing with fuels except for one guy in the States Brian Cooper who is the top fuel maker in the US.. He has a gazillion world records under his belt and is collaborating with me on this project.. Excited ? Damn Straight !

So yeah sorry guys had to get that out !

Yee Haaa

Mmmm....cant wait to see/try this new fuel ......i can only sing words of total praise for the fuel i got off you the other day Mark.....in one word OUTSTANDING !!
I put over a litre through the new OS TZ already ....need to conserve the rest for the Summernats now.
Cheers

Hey andy

Awesome to hear !! I tried the new mix and wow ! if you think the stuff is good now wait till you try this stuff !!!

In tests on a force 25 i revved the begeesus out of it and i mean till it was gona blow and i could only get 68degc off the side.. now with my regular fuel it would have hit 100 deg c which is still outstanding with what i was doing to it but this new stuff ... I think ill hit my target and that is to make a blend of fuel with 5% total oil for racing and still have an engine last at least 6 race meets ! thats my target, we are still in testing for another few months to make sure every base is covered but im confident it will come through !
Next test is to run a litre through this engine on the track , My trusty Tech Mental "Brad" has been given permission to do whatever it takes to blow this engine up with one litre of fuel, this entails absolute punishemnt consistantly for 1 litre, we will then exammine the internals and map results..
this engine has already seen about 15 litres of my standard fuel and has compression of 6 psi constatnt.. thats pretty good for an engine after 15 litres, i will compare this after the abuse is finished.. Gees i hope nobody calls the RSPCA on me ! lol

BTW with what i was doing to it on the block with no load im pretty sure it would have blown by now.. i have done block rev tests for the last 3 days at 2 minute intervals average rpm 28 to 35 k and its just lookin at me saying and ? .. im sure i heard the engine yawn at me a few times ! lol

if the engine makes it through this test my next test is to run the engine consistantly for 24 hours @ 3/4 throttle ..

Cheers MM

Before and after shots .. Brad did his job well, in the end lost radio signal after about 600 ml , hit a gutter at full speed and totalled the car ! Engine screaming let it scream for about 1/3rd of a tank while he mosied over and watched it fry its self..
Conclusion
The engine survived ! But the car did not ! lol

Dont forget to keep us posted Mark on how the new fuel is progressing/testing
The batch of fuel i ran at the Summernats was outstanding....as Wayne mentioned in the other post, the smoke trail was very nice and light....temps in the engine were good....started 1st bump everytime...oh, except for when that initial run-in glow plug died on practice day
I stayed fairly rich for entire meet and the engine was well short of top power, but will interesting to see how it goes in a few more tanks as it loosens up a little
Cheers Andy

Mark u r a champion

Your fuel is the greatest!!!

But i have only one problem with your fuel & motor's they need a better
driver & a car that last's more than 5min

(Maybe u should start designing a new tourer 1/10th with
a massive mod's engine ) Now that would kick arse

But 4 true champ that was the best fuel mix iv'e ever used
not one flame out just plenty of front & rear shock fall out &
front arms coming off etc etc etc etc etc etc

Next trip eastern creek 4 the sydney grand prix

seeya

MM you are doing some HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE calls here man. if this stuff doesn't rip runner time to shreds you've got questions to answer

hopefully it will kick arse like you say, but man, the predictions you are making are still huge!

just make sure you've got fire hazard precautions. just incase something catches on fire. are you going to use a fan to cool it?
