Things change fast, altho I haven't raced up there for almost a year the last meet I raced at there was 4-5 1/8's racing. 1/5's seemed to be the booming class while 1/10 tourers (my class) are always popular.
I briefly raced 1/8th 3-4 years ago but found the costs a bit limiting, (only used to get 1 race meet from a set of tyres..) They are great fun though
Bought a near new Kyosho Evolva off a mate and raced it for half a season, the engines cost a fortune though, like $500 for a low to mid ranged engine and they don't last as long as offroad 1/8's motors....

I think it stinks, and the cuplrit has no respect for the others who raced legitimately, or the people who write the class guidelines.

Afterall, we are just hobbyists, competing to find how well we can setup our machines compared to others with similar specification.

I'm gonna grab me my pitchfork and find me a lynch mob, and track this vermin!!!

Hey Tony, i guess if the truck falls within the current rules, then i guess all you could say is that he didnt fall within THE SPIRIT of the class, which i would imagine wouldnt matter to some, he must have a win at all costs attitude. I see from a new thread that they are looking at the rules as we speak.
Cheers
Scott

No one bothered to check the trucks before they started racing?
Pete: 'Hey Joe that MT thats carving everyone up looks like a Losi 8T with HPI Savage stickers it's sides'
Joe: 'Yeah was thinking that till I saw it had a Savage sticker on it, no arguement there, gotta look for those lil' things Pete'

You would think that it was obvious to every one else involved, I mean, you just have to take a quick glance at a truggy then look at a truck and realise which is which

Yeah, fair enough, but you would still think that someone would take a good enough look at the car and realise that it is infact not a truck
