Sportsman is a class that gives people the opportunity too race a final who might not other wise have the chance too be in the amain race and possibly win a trophy, i believe you need too enter under both ic and sportsman so enter away sportsman basicaly gives you a chance too run in the sportsman main and race for a trophy, hope this answers your question.
ic is just your basic entry for buggy or truggy.
Is this your first state title ?

Hey Troy,
The way that the Sportsman class works on Slyfox is making things a little confusing. Sportsman is intended to be a class within a class, so to speak- the top 15 (the rules say 12, but its 15 if the track allows for it) Sportsman qualifiers in each class qualify for a 20 minute Sportsman final that takes place before the A Main.
From the AARCMCC rules:
"6.5 k) Sportsman Final: Immediately prior to the commencement of the A Finals, there shall be a demonstration race of 20 minute duration for the top 12 ‘Sportsman’ qualifiers. 'Sportsman' entrants must pre-nominate as such and eligibility will be judged by AARCMCC and event organisers. As a general rule, drivers will be deemed ineligible to compete as ‘Sportsman’ if they receive free product or substantial sponsorship from hobby shops, distributors or manufacturers."
Because of the way that the database system works in Slyfox, they've asked that we trial listing the Sportsman categories as an extra class. The idea is that everybody enters the main (IC) classes, and those wishing to be eligible for the Sportsman finals also enter the Sportsman class on Slyfox. Hope that makes sense.
