Default Beaudesert Track

The Beaudesert Track has been re-designed to suit Mod and Gas Cars, you can now get excited cause the track is great for passing.... it is 3 meters wide in the narrowest part, with long straights and big sweepers......

Photos of the new layout are here:

http://www.rctech.net/forum/showthre...2&page=7&pp=30

hope to see you racing for mod, and ( F-1, 540 and stock practice) Wednesday night, 540, stock racing Friday night and Gas racing Saturday night

See you there...............

Default Where have all the Nitro's gone ?

Got home from holidays last Saturday and was faced with a tough decision - unpack or go racing. Obviously decided to go racing - packed the trust G4 and off to Meakin.

Can you believe it not one other Nitro showed up - probably about a dozen electrics and no nitro - how boring had to go home and get on with the unpacking.

Well I got the message - it's back to electric for me. Luckily I got a shipment of the new Schumacher EC on Monday so spent today screwing one together for a play. Looks pretty good actually, many changes from the Mi2. Should get a debut at the Logan Summer Cup I reckon - if I can get a body shell ready by then.

I think entries for the summer cup close about 19th guys so get moving and get them in.

welcome back, bring the gas car to summer cup have fun there.

Is the rumour true that the track will be changed for the summer cup at Meakin Park? If so when?

A new year a new challenge.

Track 2 or 4.... (I'm sooo sick of hairpins)

Also,
Just a couple of points when designing tracks (only my opinion):

        Hey Brad,

Would you consider other suggestions? if so could you post the track dimensions and a closing date for ideas?

        Cheers

A change would be good.....maybe shorten the overall length( cut 5 metres or so off each end) of the track and condense the layout.

        I too wouldn't mind submitting a layout

i think having a big straight and then a big techniqual section is perfect, like having a look at the a big tracks around australia brendale has a big straight and sweeper then has a tight in feild.
