Default SMA Club Race

Looking forward to racing tomorrow . . .

Its been awhile since we have been able to run on a Sunday, hope to see all our regulars and I know there some newbies keen to run on the SMA track.

BK and I will be running the same program from last Tuesday night, please be patient as we cannot use the old database. Please remember when registing to have your frequencies and AMB personnel transponder number. If you raced last Tuesday Night, you are already on the new database.

I would like to congratulate Mr Nick Jaber on his 3rd in the B Main at the Winter Nats today. Driving his Mugen 200mm Nitro Tourer, Nick had a bit of work to do coming from the back of the pack, moving up the field to claim a place in his first major title race!

Well done Mr President . . .

Its not even race day and Mr Willard has already preped the track for Sunday.

The back bone of the club, David was at Tempe clearing the water of the Tennis court so it would be dry on Sunday. Talk about dedication!

Make sure you Thank him for his effort (or shout him a drink/lunch) as he always goes above and beyond club member duties.

See you all tomorrow at SMA,

Cheers,

IDM

A great day today, thanks to all (most especially David for the track prep). Well done Antonio, for a maiden victory in his first EP meet in forever!

The Alycat replacement works well - it's great to see Matt & BK on the track for a change! We might just get used to it...

Default Todays Racing

Ah! another days racing is over, I have just had a nice relaxing spa bath so I feel almost human again......

Thanks to Ivan and Alan for turning up early and helping with the track setup. Thanks go to BK and IDM for running the meet and providing some good racing to watch, also Matt with his adventures enabling me to hit the "DOH" button on numerous occasions, lol.

I'm pretty sure we will be going with the new software we ran today and last Tuesday, it is SO flexable with running the meet, bit expensive but when you consider that almost anyone can run it and it is very easy to learn.....

To answer TOMB, Matt did run mod today as well as stock, Matt took the Stock A final and was third in the Mod if memory serves me correctly.

Nitro A was fun, thanks to Alan again for pitting for me, sorry to anyone I hacked in the final, with the exception of Adam that is.

We were missing one really important "Pit Bitch" today, Al we did miss you!

Till next time

Cheers
David
