I think i like the second one from those Rich. We can have as many or as little jumps as we want. European track often only have 3-4 jumps and are more flowing and the challenge is in the circuit itself. The American tracks seem to have jumps on every corner and straight! I prefer the euro tracks myself.

The clay (all or part of it, not sure) is being delivered at 3:30 today. We wont have any spare clay to build jumps with to start with, it'll all go into the base. We will get more clay later when we have the money. As long as we have minimum 20sec lap I'll be happy. And we could easily change the track layout at the start of each year so we will be able to try a few different things.

Looking forward to be down there soon to try the new surface.

When designing tracks it's also good to think about where marshalls are going to stand - without obstructing drivers views and how many lanes they will need to cross to get to trouble spots etc.

I think I prefer this one of that lot.

Is the clay going to be dumped off the track or on it?
Just wondering if we will still have a track for sunday?

No the clay wont be dumped on the track.
We need to have the track leveled before we put the clay down.

You're a gem Rob, I'll drop round to give the track a sweep at about 2.
I'll bring my mower to give you a hand too.
Hope the rain stays away, looking forward to having a race on Sunday after last nights success.

Track has been swept off, black pipe ripped up and edges mowed for tomorrows race meet. Looks pretty nice! Hopefully we have some nice weather...
Cheers to all who worked on the track.

Mr Ajj, get them to hold off and then buy you the new version which should be out just after the dex210 is released.

Sounds good, I gotta work tomorrow so I won't be there. I still want good weather though, since I'll probably go to the track on Monday if it's dry.

I've finally finished converting my Bandit to a Rustler, all but the body. I haven't driven it yet, but it turns out the Rustler rear arms have no toe in. I've just ordered a pair of Protrac Slash rear arms, apparently they're the same length as Rustler arms but have toe in.
